Getting started

What is PropDoc?

PropDoc is a quiet, modern way to look after the homes you love. It keeps appliances, warranties, documents, and seasonal tasks in one place so nothing slips.

How do I create my first home?

Open the app, tap the + on the Home tab, give your home a name and address. You can add a second home later from Settings.

Does PropDoc work offline?

Yes — the app caches everything locally. Changes sync the next time you’re online.

Tasks

How do recurring tasks work?

Tasks can repeat by week, month, season, or year. PropDoc nudges you a few days before each one is due — never on the morning of, never with a marketing tone.

Can I snooze a task?

Tap the task, then ‘Snooze’ and pick a new date. The recurrence schedule keeps running from the original date.

Where do task reminders show up?

On your lock screen, as a single daily summary at the time you choose in Settings → Reminders.

Assets

What counts as an asset?

Appliances, fixtures, paint colours, finishes — anything you might want to look up later. Add a photo, model number, install date, and warranty.

Can I attach manuals and receipts?

Yes. Upload PDFs or photos directly to the asset. They’re searchable from the global search bar.

How does the warranty timer work?

Set the purchase date and warranty length. PropDoc shows the remaining time on the asset card and warns you a month before it expires.

Sharing

How do I invite a partner or family member?

Settings → Members → Invite. They’ll get an email link, pick a password, and join with the role you choose (Editor or Viewer).

What can each role do?

Editors can add and change anything. Viewers can read but not edit. The Owner can change roles and remove members.

Can I share with a contractor?

Yes — invite them as a Viewer. You can revoke access at any time, and they never see billing or member settings.

Billing

Is PropDoc free?

There’s a free tier with one home and unlimited tasks. The paid tier unlocks multiple homes, shared members, and document storage.

How do I cancel?

Settings → Subscription → Manage. Cancelling keeps your data; you drop back to the free tier at the end of the current period.

Do you offer refunds?

Within 14 days of purchase, yes — email hello@getpropdoc.com.
