A plain-English summary of what we collect, why, and what we do with it. This is a draft — final version will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

What we collect
When you create a PropDoc account, we collect the email address and password you provide. When you use the app, we store the homes, assets, tasks, documents, and photos you choose to add. We also collect basic device information (model, OS version) and limited diagnostic data (crash reports, performance metrics) to keep the app stable.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t sell or rent your data to third parties.
- We don’t use your home data to train AI models.
- We don’t serve third-party advertising in the app.
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites for marketing purposes.
Why we collect it
We use your data to run the service: to show you your homes and tasks, sync between your devices, share with members you invite, and send you reminders. We use diagnostic data to fix bugs and improve performance.
Third parties we share with
We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate PropDoc:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Vercel — web and API hosting.
- Resend — transactional email (account, reminders, replies to contact forms).
- Apple — payments via the App Store, push notifications via APNs.
These vendors process data on our behalf under their respective data processing agreements. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion is permanent and removes data from our systems within 30 days (backups roll off on a 30-day cycle).
If you are in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). To exercise any of these, email privacy@getpropdoc.com.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry- standard practices for authentication, access control, and incident response. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you’ve found a vulnerability, please email security@getpropdoc.com.
Children
PropDoc is not intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
We’ll notify you by email of material changes. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
