The rules for using PropDoc, in plain English. This is a draft — final version will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

The basics
By creating an account or using PropDoc, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. PropDoc is operated by PropDoc Inc. (“we”, “us”).
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity on your account. Don’t share your account with people who shouldn’t have access to your data — invite them as members instead.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PropDoc.
Your content
The homes, assets, tasks, documents, and photos you add are yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process this content solely so we can provide the service to you and the members you invite. We don’t use it for anything else.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Use PropDoc for anything illegal.
- Upload malware, abuse our infrastructure, or attempt to bypass security controls.
- Reverse engineer the app or scrape data from it in bulk.
- Use PropDoc to harass or harm others.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store on the cadence you select (monthly or yearly). Apple’s terms apply to that transaction. You can manage or cancel from Settings → Subscription or via your Apple account. Refunds within 14 days of purchase — email hello@getpropdoc.com.
Availability
We work hard to keep PropDoc running, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue PropDoc entirely, we’ll give you reasonable notice and tools to export your data.
Disclaimer & liability
PropDoc is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll let you know by email and give you time to review them before they take effect. Continued use of PropDoc after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
